The lads who gave up the airport and their sweet, sweet allowances to watch Netflix and answer the odd email and pretend it counts as work are all being called back in to deal with the Ukrainians landing
Whats happening to all the Ukrainians who land ? Do most of them jave mates but some just have nowhere to go? What happens then?
The Ukrainian military is reporting that more than 11,000 Russian military personnel have died since the invasion began.
A total 285 Russian tanks were also reported to have been destroyed as well as 109 artillery systems, 44 aircraft and 48 helicopters, according to a report by the general staff of the armed forces of Ukraine and published to the website of the Ukrainian ministry of defence.
“Just yesterday, more than 650 wounded members of the Russian occupation forces were taken to the central city hospital in the village of Bryanka, Luhansk region,” the report adds.
“All of them are mostly in serious condition… after providing first aid, they were escorted by an armed convoy from the regular forces of the Russian armed forces to the line of combat to introduce further hostilities as ‘cannon fodder’. It is known that the personnel of the 6th separate motorised rifle regiment is frightened and demoralised, looking for ways to desertion
Im not entirely sure what the last bit means. Are they saying the Russians brought all their wounded to the front lines to increase their own losses?
Thanks. Keep them coming for balance. The first one just says the Russians will win because they always do.
The second purports to be more analytical but portrays that the Ukrainians will be surrounded shortly and will have no way out. Even if they Russians do advance they are not going to surround them with an impermeable blanket.
The Daily Star on Sunday says Putin is dying of cancer. Maybe that’s how it ends.
It depends. A lot of the earlier ones had friends here and were staying with them. They were mostly insistent on this being a temporary measure.
More and more are landing lately with nowhere to go. We arrange a taxi and get them to a hotel, give them information about asylum and land them for 90 days (the most we can legally give at the border). From there, they will need to present to the Immigration Protection Office and claim asylum (none and I mean NONE of the “asylum seekers” that usually land here bother doing this and just leave) but the Ukrainians are already starting to. I’m told there are people in the hotels helping them do this.
We could do with more help at the airport though. A lack of a translator on site is a huge issue, for example. A lot of the people landing have only a birth cert or an old “internal passport”, both of which are written in Cyrillic and it’s very hard to even get their names from them.
You better check Sunday Sport and see if they corroborate that
My sources in Belarus are indicating that the head of the Belarussian millitary has resigned as he refuses to fight the war in Ukraine. Hopefully a mutiny there and overthrow that bollox would seriously hamper Vlad
What flights do they come in on? And how do they get on them without passports? Surely the ukranian embassy could get a translator?
Get a few Poles in to help on the teanslation. Probably 70% compatible. All jokes aside, google translate is quite effective now.
Coming from everywhere. One lad drove. We are allowing them travel with any form of ID. The visa requirement has been lifted
I’d have thought so. I’d imagine there are some at the hotels and at the IPO.
Why do NONE of the asylum seekers usually present there?
Drove?
A horse.
I wish he’d hurry on.
Cancer of the knob caused by shagging Ukranian letterboxes.
He does look bloated and tired in the last while. I’d imagine gearing up for and orchestrating a war would weigh heavily on your conscience despite what he like to have us believe of him.
NSFW.
I wonder will he be getting the umbrella treatment anytime soon .
Im starting to think the russian army is made up of storm troppers.
