If you tolerate this…
After taking a fortnight long nosedive of a deep dive into the complexities of post cold war russian and American politics ive arrived at the following conclusions:
- If it wasn’t put8n it would be someone else.
- the sanctions may topple putin, but he’s a lot more popular rhan weshteners think. Contrary to popular opinion Putin didn’t subject the russian people to the jack boot oligarchs and gangsters, instead he rescued them. They love him, or at least a post cold war cohort does.
- the life expectancy of russians plummeted.by 16 years post 1991. This unheard of drop was largely due to suicide and alcohol/drug abuse amongst young men. They’re rioe for nationalism and a cause …to unify them, give them purpose etc. The alternative is despair.
- russians dont give a flying fuck about democracy. They tried it and it didn’t work out
- America and the uk absolutely shafted russia post cold war…they broke about a dozen treaties, reneged on gentlemens agreements and deliberately set about sabotaging and fucking over the russian economy, whilst strengthening its neighbours and expanding nato. The out manoeuvred them on the international stage and humiliated them endlessly. It wasn’t good.
Did i mention that the rissians dont care about democracy…and that if it wasn’t putin it would be someone else. Its also important to say that if it hadn’t been hitler it would also definitely have been someone else, probably not as bad as hitler mind…
Have they not heard about Instagram?
Me too? Black lads?
Women with mickeys?
Growing salad on your windowsills to save the planet?
Putting yourself through 5 years of college to be homeless?
What kinds of cunts are they at all…can’t they fill their days with hounding the 2 FM perverts?
Who needs gendered toilets or 2fm when youre knee-deep in tank warfare
I’m sure the refugees would feel much better about things if you could only share that post with them.
This simply isn’t true, or is at least highly unlikely, from my reading of the book @Fagan_ODowd recommended.
Some nice observations here towards the end.
What’s your point? Are you just going to roll the sweet in your mouth and say the rosary? What has my post got to do with refugees?
My point is that you are an apologist.
Shame he didn’t recommend it to the russians instead . There they were getting fucked over by mafia and oligarchs within and global strategists without, no hope in sight. They did what everyone else did, they went with a dictator. They should have tried to be better Europeans or something
That line about captain Tom’s daughter. Ouchy ouch. That must have left a few lawyers a bit sweaty

Sean Dyche?
Is that right? Are you capable of looking at post ww1 Germany and understanding that the way Germany was treated led to the rise of hitler? Or would that make you an apologist?
Seethe away. I don’t give a shit what you believe.
I’m confused, bro.
What way should aggressive countries be treated?
You’d sometimes wonder about these lads who base their entire personality around being wrong about everything, if they ever thought about not being wrong about something, even as a thought experiment.
No, of course they haven’t. As stereotypically dour as a Belfast street on a wet Sunday morning in January 1953.
Not in a way which makes conflict inevitable. Germany was impoverished post ww1, society fell apart, people statved to death, prostitution and crime were rife, the rest of europe was demanding their resources, their money etc. The brits drove them into the ground. Post ww2 the Americans recognised the calamity and didn’t make the same mistake…or maybe they were just apologists or something @balbec ?
So it’s ok to bomb the shit out of Ukraine now?
