Saw that footage a few weeks ago. They didn’t shoot him. Just shot close to him. They have a longer conversation after that as they try and free his leg from the wall. I think he was actually interviewed as a POW not long ago.

Its been well flagged. They have been building defences behind the river and have blown up all the bridges today supposedly. They will plan to hold behind the river and force a stalemate. The Ukrainians will have to keep making gains or the give Putin what he wants crowd will get louder.
