Losing a hole to par in fourballs is terrible stuff, & it’s just happened to Speith & Thomas. They’re back to 1 up & these top 3 matches could go either way. Hoojgaard just tentatively missed a chance to win a hole & his match is all square. Rose has birdied 2 holes in a row (winning 1 & tieing 1) to bring their match back to 1 down. I’m giving us the bottom match - Fitzy & Mc are 5 up with 7 to play.

Wyndham Clark, who’s apparently a major champion & a golfer I’d never heard of, has 2 birdies in a row to push the USA back to a 2 hole lead in the third match.
Massive hole there in the top match. It looked like Speith & Thomas were both going to bogey a second hole in succession but Thomas made a scrambling par save after Hovland left a short birdie putt in the jaws. A halve that will feel like a win for the American pair who celebrated wildly with high fives & shouts of “you da man”. The Americans remain 1 up.
Rahmbo & Hoojgaard are still all square.

Thomas misses a short one this time after all his whooping & hollering on the last hole. All square after 16. But Koepka struck a huge blow in the second match there, holing a long birdie putt & they’re now 1 up.
