This debacle is entirely on Zach Johnson. Ignored LIV candidates, so no DJ, DeChambeau, and Patrick Reed, all of whom have winning Ryder Cup pedigree (DJ was 5-0 last time out). Snubbed Keegan Bradley and Cam Smith, both in the top 12 standings, so he could pick good old boys Speith, Thomas and the hapless Fowler. Most of the team ended their season in August and hadn’t played a competition in 5 weeks. Let them go on the piss for 3 days in Rome where they all got Covid.
All the same delighted the cunts lost, not an ounce of personality betweem them.

Would any of the European LIVs make the team? On the LIV tour DeChambeau #2, DJ #4, Reed #6. Sergio maybe but you’d hardly pick the likes of Poulter and Westwood who were at #39 and #46 on the LIV.
