A proper reward for JP for winning the world series hurling championship.
JP is a visionary
They were when they tried to build it twenty years ago but they are crying out for it now. I can see the argument against it for some towns, but Adare will only attract more visitors when they have the bypass.
Nobody is against the Adare bypass itself but there a lot of unhappy folks along the route to Foynes alright where currently rural houses will soon be backing onto a motorway, have their farms split in half etc. Same as any new road really I guess but made worse by the fact that there is no road at all serving this Foynes to Adare route currently. Theyâve also taken a very long winded route so they could jam the Adare bypass in while they were doing it.
Donât expect to get a free ticket and be on the course.
Probably be positioned outside Colbert Station.

Itâll be a hoor of a job if the bypass isnât finished.
This article keeps repeating itself and answers no questions.
Can you buy tickets âfor Irish supportersâ and give them to your yank buddies?
at a cost of âŹ499 per daily ticket
Sweet baby jebus
US supporters are supposed to be restricted to the designated US end. I imagine there will be stewards at the course to stop US supporters trying to bunk into the European sections and if such interlopers are caught theyâll be thrown out.
I doubt that says Croker.
You canât charge the golf crowd enough in fairness
500 quid for a Ryder cup ticket
How much would a decent ticket be I wonder, not hanging around with the plebs
Surely âŹ500 would be low for a ticket to a once in a lifetime event?
Itâs a bienniel event mate.
What does âThe Greenâ tickets mean? You need to pay extra to access the green area?
If youâre after getting ten grand for sticking a family of yanks in the garden shed you wonât let ticket prices bother you too much
