Sam Allardyce former England Manager

Terrible sentence?

Ya, read it out loud to yourself.

Apologies, it’s predictive txt and I was working at the same time. If the spelling and composition upset you then I’m truly sorry.

Not a bother mate, I agree with the sentiment you probably meant.

Big Sams last act as England manager was to send each player a personally signed postcard telling them how their epic journey together had only just begun. 24 hours later, he was sacked.

The postcards arrived yesterday.

:disappointed_relieved:

I nearly shed a tear myself as I read that.

Big Andy Carroll banging them in for West Ham right now.

Southgate should go back to England’s roots - 4-4-2, tough centre halves who will put their head on the ball, hard full backs who like a tackle, central midfielders who kick everything that moves, wingers who can cross a ball and track back and a big target man striker who can flick on the ball.

It’s seems to be a pattern in big Andys career.

  1. Long and complicated rehab from a long term injury

  2. Come back into the 1st team with a few substitute appearances.

  3. Start a few games and get into scoring form with the term unmarkable being bandied about.

  4. Talk of a call up to the next England squad

  5. Contract is renewed or improved.

  6. Pick up an innocuous knock and spend the next 6/9 months out.

  7. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Jermain Defoe back in the England squad. Rashford & Vardy the other strikers, no big man.

Defoe is the in-form player of those three, but obviously is getting on a bit.

Ward-Prowse, Redmond, Lingard, Livermore all included too.

Big Sam is BACK

If you photoshopped that so it’s just a silhouette of Big Sam, you could easily imagine it to be Alan Kelly celebrating holding onto his seat by the skin of his teeth for the seventh time in a row at the 2037 General Election.

Just the thought of Big Sam has turned Everton around

They will win the derby on December 10th. Guaranteed.

Gets a mention in the week’s Phoenix . Shareholder in a company called F6 that is involved in vehicle telematics technology . Company not going great .
