I hear some pubs are getting smashed up??
can i start by issuing an apology to that no mark Jimmy29 who called this well, i hope u lumped on mate.
anyway, just in the door now after an enjoyable enough evening.
the west stand was virtually 100% closed and all the upper tiers so the crowd were skilfully placed in front of the TV cameras, anyway id guesstimate a crowd ~10k.
Both sets of fans were in cracking form, the nordies throughout were a credit as were the scottish lads, i suppose thats what u get when u have 2 sets of aways support.
I saw no hi jinks inside the ground at all as the crowd were well seperated, most of the scots lads were DARTIng it from tara street to the stadium after boozing all day whilst all the Nordies appeared to be safely encased in the ground well before KO, a few Nordie lads told me that their buses were escorted to the RDS and they were all frogmarched to the ground, ( the lads who told me this story now drove down from portrush and were sound heads and told me they would never travel on a supporturs bus as most Nordie fans do due to what the boyos called a " fear" of the south.
after the game all the scottish lads plus us charged out for the DART but the nordies were kept in the ground , but it all seemed v peaceful anyway from what i saw.
the game itself was not a contest, scotland completely outplayed the opposition, Adam, Miller who was imnpressive and Commons the stand out players,
NI offered nothing really, everything went thru mccourt but they had nothing at all upfront, Mccout is a lovely footballer, a great link up player but tonight tried to do it all on his own, You could sense an uneasy tension in the ground when Paddy got the ball TBH, he really impressed me but u can tell the Nordie fans have an issue with him.
kenny Miller appears to be quite the hero for scotland…
i worry for NI, very , very poor
