After getting Ciaran McDonald on in the last series, surely Maurice Fitzgerald is worth a go on this. His appearance on the Irish Times’s Couch of Yerra last week shows that his no media appearances stance may be weakening.
Anyone hear the football podcast on Monday? McDevitt was seething as the viewpoint that the rugby players are an untouchable entity in the Irish media. He was getting really angry and defensive about the quite mild inferences of Fanning and Earley with regard to this.
Does this make him an alright sort?
No, McDevitt was getting offended at the viewpoint the rugby players get a soft ride, made him come across like an awful baby.
McDevitt is an awful baby. He threw the toys out of the pram before which is why he exists in the obscurity of a podcast and not on a radio show.

I watched about 5 minutes of the Jim McGuinness interview and between him being so defensive and the two dopes asking him retarded questions trying to seem like they had insight I had to switch it off.
There is a great interview to be got out of Jim McGuinness but you can’t start off by having digs at him. Should have been an interview about sports psychology, not, did you care that everyone was upset by your defensive tactics? 
Lads, I was having an argument with a chum recently over the “good wall” and he swore blind that Robbie Keane had been on the wall once upon a time. I on the other hand will go to my grave in my belief that one of the greatest men this country has ever produced has inexplicably NEVER been put onto the wall.
