A burger in Kranks had some amount of lettuce on it. It was ahead of its time catering for the modern day healthy eating avocado toast generation.
They were first in Limerick with a Chili-burger is all I can remember. Youād be licking your fingers after it.

All Limerick chippers are the same, theyāre all OK
Enzos, Golden grill, luigis, Fredas, fuscos, you. Couldnāt tell the difference

The yellow road was a great spot back in the day. What was the chipper in ballycummin? They also had the place on fr Russell Road thats luis now. They got done for not paying the tax on plastic bags iirc

Thats it couldnāt think of the name I believe the plastic bags were revenues way into the doors and they had a lot of other dodgy going on. Decent chipper none the less
Revenue worked out the amount of chips they could make from the amount of spuds they were buying supposedly and it didnāt tally

Great reports from Lucaās on Grove Island. Had it last night as a delivery. Best Fish & Chip Iāve had in years. Real old style.Fit as a fiddle this morning. No bloated Fish & Chip feeling.
Kranks went around 2004. They actually went bust. The guy behind it Gibbons passed away last year. Same guy who had the Woodfield. Think his wife only passed away a year or two earlier
I knew him fairly well from The Woodfield. Hard to believe he went burst as both places were going well as far as I could see.
