We actually have a few decent bench options for once. Brady *could be a gamechanger off the bench.

Stumpy has a bit of acceleration but heā€™s not pacey to stretch the defence over the top. Heā€™ll receive the ball on the left, wonā€™t take his man on, turn back on his right and pass it back into midfield x 10

We have a clear plan B on the bench with Brady and Duffy in for their set piece threat

Surely 352. Neither Connolly or Robinson can play up front alone and might be a bit of a threat together in behind

Great team. Bossman Steo not afraid to make the big calls. Duffy canā€™t argue not starting.

I think it is a ballsy selection from Spock but you could also label it naive. Why switch to 3-5-2 now after spending so much time playing and not deviating from 4-2-3-1 in the nations league. At least it shows he realises that it didnā€™t work. I suppose the result will write the narrative in they regard

Probably will line out 5-4-1. Weā€™re countering the dubious character of the Serbs with Matt Doherty. McClean would be the obvious man to come on late and wind them up with a late tackle

I donā€™t like Coleman as part of a three man defence. I donā€™t think it plays to his strengths. But he had the experience to do a job I suppose. While you could argue that him and Doherty are two of our better players I donā€™t think that both of them are that good that you change shape to accommodate both or either is good enough or versatile enough to just be shoe horned into the side.
