Serie A season 2012/2013

+1

Allegri is a good guy.

Great to have ex-Torino player Tony Dorigo on co-commentary duties for the Turin derby. I’m very fond of Tony’s co-commentary indeed.

Tony is an excellent co-commentator and also an esteemed member of the board.

That was a wonderful opportunity for Meggiorini - he really should have scored.

Pogba looks a really good player.

Referee is a fucking idiot, that was a great challenge. You rarely see red cards for that in Italy.

Ball and leg taken. Straight red for Glik. The challenge wasn’t all that dissimilar to one that Jay Spearing got sent off for last season. Being a defender, I thought it was a decent tackle.
Il Toro were already creaking, this will be a big ask for us now.

They’ve looked very comfortable so far.

Pogba taken down for a penalty…Pirlo blazes it over

Why did Fergudon let Pogba go? He looks very good so far.

Pirlo misses a penalty after a moment of madness from Basha.

Because Ferguson is an idiot.

0-0 at the interval. Torino were comfortable up until the dismissal and Meggiorini had the best chance of the game. Since then they have really struggled to keep the ball and Juventus have pinned them in although they just look very uninspiring in attack, Giovinco and Vucinic are not good enough for Juventus while Giaccherini is a squad player at best. Pirlo is beginning to get a hold on proceedings so I would expect Juve to get the lead early enough in the second half and then see it out comfortably. Torino have offered nothing in attack since going down to ten men although they are defending very well. The goalkeeper Gillet looks a liability though.

Vucinic has turned to shit in the past 2-3 seasons.

Marchisio heads Juve in front. It had been coming, that’s the game over now.

Napoli 5-1 up at home to Pescara. Inler with a cracking drive for the fifth, Napoli are motoring along excellently.

Wonderful stuff.

First half hat-trick for Alberto Paloschi against Genoa today. This lad has so much ability but has been blighted by injuries since scoring on his Milan debut four or five years ago, hopefully he can kick on from here.

Antonio Conte back in the dugout today, Massimo Donati returns from suspension to resume his libero role.

Wonderful sportsmanship from Matri after some dreadful officiating.

Really open game this and some nice free flowing attacking football on display, beats the utter dirge on show in the EPL at the minute.
