Serie A Thread 2014/2015

Paletta pulls his hamstring, Milan down to 9.

When your luck is out, your luck is out.

Juve drawing 1-1 at home to Atalanta coming up to HT, they are level on dubious circumstances after their equaliser looked to be offside.

Zappacosta has been a constant threat for Atalanta on the flank and I’d expect Conte to call him up to his next squad.

Pirlo.

Just wow.

This thread’s longevity, just wow

Inter Fiorentina is a cracking end to end match at the moment.

Guarin nearly scores a replica of the goal he got against Celtic on Thursday night, off the post.

Salah 1-0.

He’s coming good to be fair, I was fairly critical of him in his opening games.

Good to see D’Ambrosio nailing down the right back spot for Inter, he’s a great player and will hopefully force his way into the national side shortly.

whats the story with Meelan being mega rich again and pep joining

Hernanes looks like he was won it late on for Inter. Lazio have been down to 9 men since the 65th minute.

What’s the story with Roma being done for FFP

It now looks like Napoli have to win the Europa if they are to be in next year’s CL after another poor result tonight in Parma.

Loosely related, I’ve seen Torino’s Darmian mentioned as an alternative in United’s pursuit of Clyne, has he got much about him? A longshot, in any case, given our record with Italians. Clyne strikes me as the kinda guy who’s waiting for a big fat contract before resting back on his laurels for 4-5 years.

Darmian is the best full back in the game right now.

Yeah, ok, moving on, how likely is he to move in the summer and what price tag would he command? I note Danilo’s fee is reported to be 31.5 million euro.

He’ll get a big move, I’d imagine Torino will be looking for about €20m.

What a weekend of football.

Best league in the world.
