We need about 6/7 starters for next year.
I think we have some decent options in midfield but Rogic and Ntcham have been way off the pace this season with form and injuries.
Itās bizarre. He has this horrible hoppy dancy thing he does when the ball is near him and he either passes directly backwards or forwards every time. Heās shite.
That was extraordinarily bad.
Iād say Hayes gets pass marks for effort and Brown and Edouard were good in spells and shit in spells. Ntcham was the same for a short spell. Simunovic and Bain were mostly ok.
Lustig, Toljan, Ajer, McGregor were crap.
Sinclair didnāt touch it.
Rogic and Burke were absolutely miserable. Burke wonāt be kept. Rogic needs to cop himself on. Heās been shit all season but that was horrific today.
Celtic have regressed alarmingly this season. Sevco have improved, but itās been fairly marginal irrespective of the guff Scottish pundits come out with. Recruitment in the last 2 or 3 transfer windows has been pretty dire and thereās now a situation where half the team need to be replaced at once and the manager position is up in the air. Yet they could still secure a treble. Itās one of those situations where the trophies won, and potentially still to win, donāt tell the full story.

In defence of Rogic he missed a good 3 or 4 months of the season with injury and international duty. I think himself and Ntcham have struggled for form and fitness and both are just stuck in a bit of a malaise this season. Hopefully a new season will see them kick off again. I do think we need a long term replacement for Brown in there, someone with aggression, some legs and can move the ball quickly. Brown, good and all as a servant he has been needs to be phased out.
The big issues for me is the defence and the left side of attack.
Rangers are definitely closing the gap.
As are Celtic.
Yeah I think thatās reasonable.
But Rogicās effort was unacceptable today. It wasnāt just being out of form. He didnāt want to know and avoided tackles at all costs, mostly by avoiding the ball.
Iām not defending his performance today. I just happen to think thereās a few players there who just canāt wait for the season to end and itās probably a contributing factor though Iām proferring it as a defence for Rogic today. He just didnāt want to know about it as you have said.
