Yeah but it matters not- pity it happened but there’s a bad element in most of the bigger clubs, saw it in Limerick, CCFC, Dundalk, Rovers even the “nice save the world club” Bohs

Sickening scenes. I was reading there that Waterford were leading the match at the time the Shamrock Rovers hooligans launched this attack on their players.

For a fellow that rails so much against ‘footix’ following English clubs from places that they have no geographical connection to, very odd hailing from leafy Malahide that he would pick Tallaght Shamrock Rovers as his team, rather then one of the more local teams. Smacks of classic footix behaviour of choosing the most successful team.
The key to development is mixing in many different environments… @Little_Lord_Fauntleroy knows this …the yacht club , rovers , tennis club , the Green Party, the IRA… he’s got the whole game in a choke hold …

It’s niche enough though. League of Ireland soccer and the IRA is only for scumbags and Eamonn Ryan and the Green Party for harmless enough types.
He’s alienated himself from large swathes of Eire society by not embracing the GAA and rugby.
