Was that still legal at the time?

Jumped into the waltzers with her half an hour later. Landed in a nice little pool of puke that hadn’t been cleaned up.

From that moment, I’ve always let women sit first.

A rite of passage for any good East Galway young lad. I would ask you to edit your post though, as the Ballygar Carnival is most definitely not a festival.

Three famous Ballygar men that played for Galway. One for @ChairmanDan to ponder over…

Carnival! Yes! It didn’t feel right writing festival. Was it on for a week? Great times.

As good as. 5 or 6 days around the August bank holiday weekend. It was a gathering of wild young fellas, where mad roasters met hurdy-gurdies. Great times for sure, and maybe 2022 is the year to revisit.

I’ll get to Caltra in September as part of my 2022 west coast extravaganza.

SCENES

Straight white teeth. The football followers were always that more refined than their hurlin ewuivalent. . I remember queing for a Citylink up to the 98 final and there was a lad in front with an unwashed Supermacs jersey tucked in to a pair of likely unwashed jocks.

Yer man should have stopped writing after this.

Between everything that is going on at the moment, and for many past moments, I’d half-forgotten that Galway are playing in the All-Ireland football final today.

Go on then, have your nice post at my expense. :rage:
