Significant people's (not celebrities) deaths

I’m unsure if it merits entry here but the death has taken place of one of the border’s foremost Republicans, the late Pat Rehill RIP. We’d have an inter-marriage connection and ther’ll be tales to be told in the coming days. SĂșaimhneas sĂorraĂ d’anam uasal.

A quick Google brings up an article stating a Pat Rehill found your man Kevin McKeever who faked his own kidnapping. Is this the same Pat?

Edit: here’s another article by the lesser spotted Tommie German from 1983. I’m sure you’d be familiar with some of the other names mentioned:

A few heady days alright. Loads of activity, bluster and bullshit.
It is of course the same Pat who gets mentioned the light of Heaven to him.
Good article, memories from nearly 40 years ago.

Sly & Robbie provided the rhythm section on Dylan’s Infidels. Together with Knopfler’s (and Mick Taylor’s) guitars, it was a unique sound for a Dylan album.
