Significant people's (not celebrities) deaths

John Sykes, guitarist with Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy

Bertrand Blier, French film director dies at 85.

Witnessed Les Valseuses on the gift that was Channel 4 as a young teen, which inspired an ongoing love of French Cinema that gets regularly indulged in since. Thanks for letting me know that we didnā€™t have to endure a lifetime of Tom Cruise and Angelina Jolie onscreen.

Hold your horses there. Heā€™s still pulling a plough around the fertile fields of Donegal. Spray painted a whole new colour.

As a Laois lad said when we were directed to play Leitrim in Ballinamore, we might find Shergar when weā€™re up there.

i thought shergar rebranded as sarah jessica parker

RIP. Had a few belters

Tony Martin passed away I see the other day. Bed of heaven to him. Iā€™m sure thereā€™s a good friend from mayo waiting to welcome him whoā€™s not long there himself

Probably not too far wrong. My aul fella was close friends with Leo McGirl, owned the Ratoath Inn for a good spell. The family had a colorful history between the lot of them Iā€™d know of.

Jo Jordan of Dublin Housewives ā€˜fameā€™
