Did you and scumpot attend the same school?
I am right here pal-I am drawing a distinction between buying crap players and buying good players that don’t work out-that is all. Just because those two creeps are ganging up on me and trying to make my life a living hell doesn’t make me wrong. I am surprised and disappointed that you of all people have jumped on their bandwagon.
Fergie is 7/4 fav to win BBC sports personality of the year. A fitting final award for the great man.

The Runt must be gutted that no-one gave him the opportunity to say Djemba-Djemba counted for two…
Johnathan Greening was signed from York City, not a Utd youth player.
Andy Murray will be seething
Schmeichel
G.Neville, Vidic, Stam, Evra
Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Giggs
Cantona, Van Nistelrooy
Bench:
Van der Sar
Irwin
Rio
Robson
Kanchelskis
Becks
Yorke
Others that would be very worthy of consideration would be:
Bruce
Pallister
Ince
Hughes
Cole
Need to caveat that I was born in 1983, so don’t really remember the best of Robson, Hughes or even Bruce.
Rooney is definitely underrated if he’s not making anyone’s team or subs. I’d have him well ahead of van nistlerooy, who surprisingly nearly ye all pick, in terms of overall influence on the team and the winning of trophies. If obviously not pure goals.
Forgot about him to be honest. I’ll reluctantly knock Kanchelskis from my bench. Fuck it, I did love Kanchelskis though.

No Solsjkaer? Even on the bench?
Not on the bench (unless the bench is actually meant to represent the best substitutes, in which case he would obviously be fist choice), but should have added him to my longlist at the end alright. I couldn’t put him ahead of Yorke. Kanchelskis is a sentimental choice I’ll admit, but I’ve bumped him for Rooney now anyway.

No Giggs or Cantona?
As good as he is, does RVP merit a place on Fergie’s best 11 after 1 season?
I loved watching Kanchelskis. That team that won the first two leagues under Ferguson has been forgotten about to an extent. Parker was a good right back, two well matched centre halves, Irwin solid as a rock at left back. Robson and Ince were excellent together, reinforced by Keane in 1993/94. Kanchelskis and Giggs on the wings. Cantona and Hughes upfront. McClair and Sharpe as useful subs.
I think Parker might have been a bit shit, but agreed otherwise. I was 10 years old then, that will always be the team that I first fell in love with.
How could I forget Eric! Included Giggs on subs list…after a quick edit.
Wouldn’t have either as first choice players. Eric was a superb leader when it was required and his dedication to training and improving was a great example to the the likes of Scholes, Beckham, the Nevilles, Butt etc. However in terms of pure quality he doesn’t match any of the front three in my team. Could have him instead of Scholes but I regard Scholes as one of the best players I’ve seen.
Giggs has been superb at times for United but he was inconsistent for a good few years. His longevity has coloured some people’s view of his achievements.
Included RVP because I always admired him even his Arsenal days. He is a great player and it was great to finally see him win a title.
They were all at home in London.
In fairness, I’m not sure you’d get fans milling around outside the ground for these type of things anywhere other than Newcastle. It’s strange behaviour.
