Andy’s a double break down in the second set. Cilic saved multiple break points to retain his initial break and then broke Murray a second time to 15. Murray needs to invoke the spirit of the Gasquet match at Wimbledon from a few years back.
It would probably be more useful if he could invoke the corporeal form of Gasquet and put him at the other end - he’s a renowned bottler. Anyway, Murray’s got one of the breaks back. Cilic is playing really well at the moment and Murray will have to dig deep if he loses this set.

Majestic Murray. 
He did well yesterday to turn that match around. He has a good chance of making the final here.
He barely held his serve at 1-5 down in the second set. To storm back and win that set showed the mark of the man. To finish it so decisively afterwards was top quality.
Had to laugh at the commentators saying he was playing shit because there was hardly anyone at the match and that Murray was upset to be playing on that court. Its a load of shite if ya ask me, Murray was just shit and Cilic played out if his skin in the first 2 sets but once Murray won that second set there was only ever going to be one winner.
On another note fair play to Del Potro for holding it together against Roddick, especially towards the end of the match when all around the court were getting emotional. 
Should be a great quarter final with Djokovic and Del Potro, This could be a potential banana skin for Djokovic.
Andy Murray has advanced to the final after overcoming Thomas Berdych in 4 sets.
He dropped the first set again but won the next two sets comfortably. Murray had an early break in the fourth but Berdych came back to force a tiebreak. Andy was 5-2 down but came back to win it 9-7.
Bizarre match, Berdych looked like he had given up for two and a half sets then came storming back.
Second semi-final had to be postponed at 5-2 to Ferrer (two breaks of serve) because the Flushing Meadows complex had to be evacuated due to an impending tornado.
