irishrugby.ie are carrying the announcement live again this week, with better results hopefully.

christ larry, best is ahead of brady for his province, let alone the national side.
(would he consider it the national side?)

I haven’t seen boss much this year but was in musgrave friday night and he can’t be behind stringer at this stage.

thinking about it, given the enforced changes at 2 and 15, and the backline adjustment, ROG and TOL may actually survive, to allow them the chance to redeem themselves.

I think Larry would agree that Best is the better player, all things being equal. But they’re not. Best has hardly played all season and looks short of fitness. Brady has done well in Best’s absence.

I fear that the halfbacks may remain intact alright. The more changes there are the less likely he is to swap his out half and scrum half.

Gatland got rid of Cooper from the 22 yesterday I see. Phillips straight back onto the bench with Rees getting the start.

17 - Tony Buckley (Shannon/Munster)
18 - Leo Cullen (Blackrock College/Leinster)
19 - Shane Jennings (St. Mary’s College/Leinster)
20 - Eoin Reddan (Lansdowne/Leinster) :frowning:
21 - Ronan O’Gara (Cork Constitution/Munster)
22 - Andrew Trimble (Ballymena/Ulster)

Kidney Out.

O’Leary stays. Earls stays. Cullen goes. Shags not even on the bench. For fucks sake.

Only 4 of that “Ireland” starting 15 would get in the England team.

Drico
Bowe
Best
O Connell (Only just though)

Thats it. England win this game.

all credit to cullen but O’Callaghans grunt is badly needed up front

rog can feel a bit hard done by also but its sextons time and he was probably due to start against italy.

where is court gone?

Surprised to see Buckely get the nod on the bench, did Court pick up a knock…Don’t see the point of having Jennings in the bench…Cullen can feel hard done by…Good to see Trimble on the bench ahead of Horgan, which would have been a retrograde step

You think that Best is better than Hartley, Haskell is better than Ferris and Easter is better than Heaslip to name just three, good lord!

Kidney’s pro-Munster bias has really been shown up here. Paul O’Connell is the clear weak link in that second row.

I’m a little suspicious that this team hasn’t made it to the mainstream media yet. Are we really that far ahead with our exclusives?

Looking at those teams this game could well be one that a few dutch bets could be landed on

On form Haskell is better than Ferris right now, but overall isn’t the better player, and i expect the Ulsterman to go crazy saturday, absolutely crazy. Hartley has impressed me as well Puke, i don’t know is he better than Best yet, but he’s dam close.

easter netter than Heaslip is more than laughable alright though.

Because of Englands back row and considering the other 2 scrum halves were already out of the equation i think TO’L & Sexton is the right call. sexton was a no brainer in the circumstances, Tomas for his strength. This could be a very forward driven game, but hopefully not. We’d win a shoot out handy enough.

Or the main stream media is a bag of shit.

Best ahead of Hartley?

Ferris, Heaslip?
Reddan alone would walk onto that team.

No he wouldn’t, Danny Care is a very good scrum half.
rog can feel a bit hard done by
Huh? He’s shit-that’s the consensus now.

Maybe he can write a letter to the Irish Times on his outrage of being dropped (Finally)

Myersy knows the score.

I shudder to think that really is the team.

I remain hopeful.

Bandage

We will just have to see when the match is over.

Stephen Ferris reputation doubled when he missed the Italian game, as “Ireland” apparantly missed his amazing phsyicality so much. Didn’t do much against the French though.

Heaslip has been in poor poor form so far. He is always drifting in and out of games - The Italian match is a good example of this. At No.8 you need consistantcy and control. Nick Easter always plays to a good standard and is very consistant.

I think Rory Best is a very underrated player.

Reddan? Is this some sort of wum?
