Six Nations 2010

I wonder who’ll win this  - http://www.englandirelandlegends.co.uk/

Since TOL is starting I hope they lose. irish rugby is the sporting equivalent of fianna fail.

Come on you barmy army. Stuff those thick paddie fucks.

What an imbecile you are. Did you shout for France because Andy Reid or Stephan Ireland or whoever didn’t play?

Did people shout for England in Stuttgart because Brady wasn’t there?

Get to fuck you unpatriotic fuck. Go scrounge off some other country.

I tried to rep you for this but apparently I’ve reached my quota for the day
(which appears to be zero)

I’ll be tentatively supporting Ireland on Saturday. However, I can see where KIB man is coming from - sometimes defeat can force those in power to make the necessary changes. That said, I wouldn’t like a defeat to come against an age old rival like England. Similarly, I’d be gutted if Roma lost to Lazio or if LA Galaxy succumbed to Chivas Guadalajara.

I’ll be going for England aswell because this “Ireland” that the rugby team proports to represent does not exist.

Also because of Irelands Call.

You should be ashamed for yourself

Thats the kinda’ talk that’ll make neutrals wish for a Paddies day massacre on the people of Kilmurry

I don’t care what the sport is or where the players are from if they’re playing against Engerland (and more especially a side that has a connection with Martin Johnson) then they deserve nothing less that a whole hearted full throttle G’WAN TA’ FUCK.

And you would do well to remember that TOL can boast of one the finest GAA pedigrees in Munster, and of being a fantastic (IMO btw) Winning Captain.

He deserves more than that from you. You miserable mane oul’ shite.

Replacements: D Szarzewski (Stade Francais), J-B Poux (Toulouse), S Chabal (Sale Sharks), A Lapandry (Clermont Auvergne), F Michalak (Toulouse), D Marty (Perpignan), M Andreu(Castres).

Replacements: K Owens (Scarlets), R Gill (Saracens), L Charteris (Newport Gwent Dragons), S Warburton (Cardiff Blues), M Phillips (Ospreys), A Bishop (Ospreys), T Shanklin (Ospreys)

Anyone think that the Welsh can spring a surprise Friday night in Cardiff?

Absolutely, its a set up for it. France thinking they are going to walk a grand slam, laps of honour after beating us (jesus we must have gone up in the world), Wales showing some bottle the last day, winning a lost game, the fact that it could become a shoot out and on their day the Welsh backs are as good as Frances? Hell ya i’d say, its worth a flutter. I’d be willing to put a nice bit on a good spread for wales to beat. They’ll definitely be below 7.
Edit:10/11 for them to beat a 7 point spread. I thought you’d get better odds to be fair.

I think it has all the hallmarks of a mugging alright and I can see Wales improving massively after their first two games. And they have improved their team with Rees starting and I don’t think their backrow will miss Powell.

But you’d expect a bigger handicap and you’d still assess France as being deserved favourites. If it’s France -7 then I’ll take some of that.

Ya, same bet really, France -7, Wales +7 at 10/11.

Wales can be found at 5/2 which I think is good value as I too think France might take foot off the gas and Wales have picked a better team than previously imo

Ya, thats the bet really.

Why is this game on a Friday?

for shits and giggles…France played Wales in Paris on a friday last year as well…

French TV like their Friday night games

And why would that make him any better?

Nope I supported the Irish side because they were conducting themselves in the right manner. I was proud of them despite my reservations about the treatment of Reid. In comparison, the rugger team are subjects of the Crown with reeks of oirish nepotism. Football is also a proper sport. Like I was fairly pissed off when Chris Doran represented ireland in the Eurovision so I went for Latvia. Really thought at the time that Doran would show up Ireland and his selection was a farce. latvia had a good song too. Was proved right then as I have time and time again about TOL. Ive given him time - 2 years. But he is clearly an impostor as an international player and it kills me that genuine players of class like Bowe and O’Driscoll have to put up with Kidney’s beans.

Presume the English shouted for the England team in Stuttgart

Unpatriotic - bit rich coming from a supporter of the british Lions.

Wasnt so long ago you were doing a bit of scrounging yourself. You seem a bit upset that Ive left Ireland? Forced to emigrate by economic circumstances,I’m making a life for myself abroad since you werent able to get me a part time job as you boasted that you could.

Maybe you should get out more.

ya but the English players are chums of the irish. Teammates in the colonial shindig. It wouldnt be a big deal. Actually the majority wouldnt give a fuck.

+1 ireland call as I have previously written is enough to warrant a redrafting of the Good Friday agreement. To be honest I think the lunatic fringe of repubslicanism would get more support if they proposed to get rid of that song.

Ferris will be singing God Save His Queen at the weekend.

What wrong with Johnson. He forced the unelected clown Mary McAleese onto the grass that time. Big  from me. Also won a World Cup against the countries that take rugby seriously. Something no Anglo Irish will ever do. Irish people dont tend to appreciate winners though. He seems a pretty shit manager though.

TOL was a decent hurler. He should have stayed with it. Not that it has anything to do with anything.

I didn’t scroung. I didn’t lie around and bask in the glory of the irish handout system, you boasted about it here. And i wasn’t long on it either. I wish more idiots like you left Ireland, so i no, i’m not upset. I’m upset about you actually coming home, leaving a job (paid for with the queens coin btw) and taking social welfare back here.

You follow Aston Villa - hypocritical is one word that comes to mind.

Also i said i could get you a job, not that i would. Not for a slacker like you. You and wtb (and thousands) think that because you get a free education, and loads of time to study and enjoy that study, that it entitles you to hand outs, or great jobs.

Not only is it unpatriotic to leave a job and come home, sit on the couch and take our money, its far worse to support another team against our own.

Answer one question for me. Were you ever happy for the Down teams of '91 or '94, Derry in '93, Tyrone and Armagh in this decade gone. Did you ever appreciate their skill, their determination, did you even shout for them against the big traditional counties?

Answer carefully now, because you may not have noticed, but they are from the same partitioned world that Rory Best and Stephan ferris come from.

Serious question Kev, why do you bother replying to KIB? He’s a mass of contradictions whose sole purpose on the forum is to have the last word in every argument. It’s boring but it’s the best he can do I suppose. I think he’s more deserving of sympathy than scorn.
