Slightly Awkward GAA Promotional Pictures Thread

This is the greatest thread on the INTERNET, kudos to @caulifloweredneanderthal who deserves all the likes (including 30 for one post, is this a record?).
I must say, the ladies pics look a lot more convincing than the lads and for the most part they are very attractive women to boot.

For a non-cancer beating post, it may well be.

Forgot about that, sorry @rocko, hope you’re well.

A top, top thread, some might say box-office. God bless this thread and all who sail in her.

I’ve vague recollections of a similar themed pic in a match programme with Steve McDonagh standing awkwardly beside a bag of beef nuts but tragically I can’t find it.

There was those ads in the 80s where John Fenton was flogging something to give to a cow as well, no images available on the web.

I never decked it until you said it

Weirdo’s.

Lighten up and take your mild clamping.

Thanks @Fitzy. I may just retire from the INTERNET now while things are going good

It won’t be long before Balls.ie or another clickbait site, the name of which I will not mention, run a feature on this topic along the lines of “The 10 most awkward GAA promotional photos you’ve ever seen!”

This was actually a very good shot, however the fellas who forgot to bring their county silverware no doubt feel fierce awkward as a result.
