I was far more up for the potential of a smash and grab against Denmark last November. Would have been lovely to oust those feckers. In hindsight Ireland played well that night and could even have snuck it at the end.

That’s a surprising call. Don’t have a strong feeling on it either way. I expect both Connolly and McClean will feature at some stage. Decent bench options anyway with Long, Brady, Connolly.
