They say they found me on LinkedIn however there is no trace of my work email on LinkedIn 
Never happened me anyway.
You should always receive emails from potential employers via your personal email address.
You could have a smart ass taking a pop shot at putting your name and company name together to try and contact you.

it depends. Some of your email accounts could be linked to your linked in account if say someone sent you an invite through your work email address and you accepted it. My linkedin has a couple of email addresses tagged to it, even though I didnt register them on it. I have gotten direct contact before on emails I didnt make public either. Could be a case of guessing the name with your work employer too, but it’d be a thick bastard recruiter to try head hunt someone through that persons current work email

I had one pop up mine too in the middle of a conversation with my manager. Never use my work email for personal. Surely a breach of GDPR?

If you have your settings wrong they can see your email on LinkedIn sometimes.
I dont my work email connected to LinkedIn or anything. All done through personal email. Only use work email for internal emails and contact with external vendors.

People craving attention. The backslapping and sharing to be seen is sick. Thankfully mine is going mute soon.
We had a donation of personal hygiene products from our staff shop to frontline workers during the week. Nobel effort and good to see. But the self congratulatory shite colleagues have been sharing on LinkedIn since is sick. They didnt contribute first of all. Secondly the company wide email to communicate this the same people replied all to show they were licking hole. #mycompany
