Any suggestions for a good sports autobiography?

Yeah I have read it - it’s a good book

“ The lost soul of Éamonn Magee” is a good read.

Half way through Andy Lees and struggling to see why was so highly rated.

Have read Eamonn Magees and Andy Lee’s book

Good autobiographies are few and far between. Would biographies suffice? The recent Ali and Brett Favre ones are excellent, Laurent Fignon and Marco Pantani excellent cycling books,
Vince Lombardi is as good as it gets

Tony Cascarino’s is good

I’ve read Cascarino’s - excellent book

Brett Favre was on the lash in Kilkenny about 6 months ago.

Cheers - What’s the Lombardi one?

Pantanis is for the nerds. Laurent fignon, meh. Tyler Hamiltons is the best read by far.

Tyler’s is like a comedy when you look back at it.

It is. It reads well though. I enjoyed it.
Tim Krabbe’s is the best by a distance

Good book. Thomas Dekker’s is good as well.

It’s called When Pride still mattered, an outstanding book.

Tyler’s is good alright, I was looking at my bookshelf making those suggestions, I’d prefer the others though Hamilton’s is a very easy read,

The Tiger Woods book is v good

I think I may well never read another sports autobiography, but if I do, it’ll probably be Kieran Fallon’s, i) because I don’t follow flat racing and ii) because I found him to be a mildly compelling listen when he did the rounds last year promoting his book.

Edit: KierEn.

Paul Rouses book about the first All Ireland hurling final is a good read.
CUsack was a character to say the least

The Fignon book is very good.
