Great to see the provincial and All-Ireland club championships are back. Not much room to manoeuvre if there’s bad weather at any stage though!

Munster and Leinster hurling championships to commence the weekend of June 26/27

All-Ireland Hurling final down for the weekend of August 21/22.

Presume the draws for provincial championships will be within the next few weeks?

There’s provision there for club league to start in late June/July if county teams are knocked out so

Club leagues will be starting in June i’d say (without the IC players).

I remember seeing Waterford beat Cork in Fermoy, 1988 I think. John Quirke from Ballyduff got a hatrick the same day, 2 if not 3 were handpasses. Pretty sure Wexford beat us in Gorey the same year. Great days out.

I remember Waterford getting hosed by Tipp in a league game in Carrick in 1975. I’d say it was the last league game Waterford played there.

Ryan’s the end of August will be off the hook

Little bit before my time, but certainly don’t recall a league game in Carrick, so I’d imagine you’re right.

I’m fierce aroused by the prospect of some league action

Pity was a grand and handy ground for a league game.

Remember Wexford bringing Waterford to Gorey, (maybe early 90s) when would have traditionally played Waterford in New Ross

Following year Waterford brought Wexford to Dungarvan

Don’t forget Tulla. The Windswept Hill was a wild spot on a November Sunday.
