Sitting by BOI on Baggot st - engrossed in the evening herald -digging into sandwiches ,generic brand soda pop called fizz up, some monster munch & the gayest of all chocolates frys chocolate cream - our very own bandage- i put the head down but he saw me and a very unpleasant 30 seconds exchanging pleasantries followed

yeah - i caught a glance - something about some guy in the Naul having a mobile phone??
It’ll be the last time I decide to walk into town at lunch if that’s the type of character I’m likely to meet.
Most of raven’s description is a complete lie with the exception of the 30 seconds of awkwardness but now I know where he works I can plan my route to avoid his likes in future.

Reminds me of Friday night
Went along to the Stags Head thinking at the very most I would get to meet piedpiper. I entered, was greeted by Rock, who subsequently summoned over the Piper. Piper initially refused to shake my hand but then backed down like he does on many of his ‘arguments’. I must say though I had quite a good conversation with him after
Next came the Croppy. He reminds me a bit of Del’s mum in Only Fools and Horses. He is never really on the forum yet holds a huge influence over much of the topics discussed. He marched up and introduced himself. Knowing him as quite an opinionated lad, I initially asked him what he thought of the world in general. Taken aback he asked me to repeat - which I did. He then laughed and said ‘where do I start - I’m an angry man’.
A brief discussion followed with him about Padraig Nally but most of our discussion centred on him trying to turn me against dancingbaby - that’s for another day
Then the highlight of the night. Rock, still hanging around us at his own engagement party, spots the entrance of the Raven. ‘Look who it is’ he shouts, ‘come here Raven’. I looked up, expecting to see a monster, but all I saw was a timid little man. He arrived over, greeted the Rock and me and then seemed quite uncomfortable with the whole thing. And then he was gone…
(PS - he came back later and acknowledged me on his second departure despite me not trying to make any sort of eye contact with him)
True Farmer. Where did Raven disappear to I spoke to him breifly and then all of a sudden he was getting his jacket and I didnt see him again.

by chance I ended up meeting the farmer & flango - previously i had an impression of them as social misfits internet geeks who had failed in regular society & relied on the net & social network sites to make friends - after meeting them this view was strenghtened
