Ideally we’d sign a really good centre back. Jozo looks a bit slow and flat footed on the right of the three centre backs and could be exposed by stronger teams.
Apparently Lennon said the other day that we have enough centre back cover. I don’t think we do if we want to be playing 3. We have Bitton and Elhamed but both have injury issues and Simunovic does too obviously.
Hopefully we can get another Compper or Hendry in before the window closes.

I don’t constantly say that. His form has been fairly miserable for the best part of a year. He had a reasonable game against a team you derided as almost part-timers.
He is comfortably behind Ntcham and Christie in the pecking order because they’ve both been comfortably better than him.

Rogic isn’t going to get a fair crack under Lennon, Christie’s form has been indifferent of late too, he had a torrid time against Rangers the last day out but some players are undroppable regardless of form and the competition in their area.
The guy on the bench is undroppable!!!

Bauer is shite bhoys, isn’t he? I know it wasn’t just him coming on as Brown moved to the back three and Forrest moved infield too. Those latter two were much less effective in their new positions than they were in the first half and the team performance dropped off completely. That said, the game was won so I probably wouldn’t read too much into it. The second half was muck though.
It was. I’d have preferred to just ask Bauer to play as a centre back because we moved 4 players for that one change. He didn’t seem to grasp the wing back element of the role either. He was too far back when we were in possession. Harmless though but suggests we do need a centre back because Brown isn’t the answer there.
