Very poor from Stokes upfront tonight. He’s had a fairly good season on the left but this was a missed chance for him tonight.
Don’t understand why he won’t get himself into the box. I know it’s not his natural game but he has to be capable of adapting to what is required. I’d have him 4th choice for that central striker role now behind Griffiths, Guidetti and Scepovic.
By the way, I thought Scepovic did well when he came off the bench 2 weeks ago - was noticeably better at closing them down and showing for the ball.
