St Mirren v Celtic

It’s not my love in with a Championship player. It’s the fact the Celtic board dicked about with a talent like McGinn who the manager desperately wanted and we ended up losing him as a result. If he had been in for pre season we would qualify for the CL.

It seems that the McGinn deal was the straw that broke the camels back for Rodgers. Celtic embarrassed themselves in trying to shortchanged Hibs this season, it turned into a farce and I can understand why Rodgers was furious.

You have a curious love affair with average Scottish talent. You wanted us to buy Stevie May a couple of years ago! :joy:

McGinn is better than that but he’s not outstanding. He’s not better than Brown, Armstrong, Christie, McGregor, Rogic. And not better than a fit and in form Ntcham.

And of course it’s not John McGinn’s fault that Celtic have been scoring those sneaky late goals that shouldn’t count.

I don’t know what you’re talking about re Stevie May but I do know you’ve embarrassed yourself on McGinn for some time in consistently trying to dismiss him. I believe you were even trying to suggest McGeouch was a better player.

He will go for about 20x what Celtic bid for him last summer in a few months if Villa don’t go up and you still be trying to pretend it wasn’t a monumental fuck up by the Celtic board. It cost us CL football this year, it cost us a manager and it cost us the best midfielder to come out of Scotland in a long time.

:joy::joy::joy:

Stevie May! :joy: :joy: :joy:

Why are you attributing posts by other posters to me?

Laugh all you want about McGinn, you just look like a fool who is digging his heels in when he is patently wrong.

Oh. Lame concession.

It is. You were telling us the likes of Allan, Henderson and McGeouch were better players than McGinn in the past. Keep digging your heels in because Rodgers did you up like a kipper.
