Roys a great guy. I have a feeling he was kind of a shock jock negative type journo in the Sunday world around 20 years ago was he? Some turnaround to the prince of porter and positivity
By God but I’d slaughter that… 
His MO was to wind up Liverpool fans which is basically like pushing an open door but as he’s got older he’s mellowed with age and sees the goodness in a lot of things - sporting, human and nature which to some can border on the twee but he absolutely nails it now and again.
