Has been a fair while since I’ve been out in Dublin. What cathedral of porter would be recommended for catching the World Cup games Friday afternoon/evening?
Not thinking a sports bar off O’Connell St. More like the Dame Tavern or the International bar area maybe. Can’t remember if they’ve decent tv in those spots?

Dublin barmen are a different breed.
I was sitting at the bar in Devitts one night when a girl went up and asked for some sort of fancy cocktail to be made up. The barman just goes, “your good looking, but not that good looking” before moving on to the next customer.
