I really hate Stuart Pearce. Here’s some reasons why he had to be sacked.
Whingeing constantly about having no money to spend. This clown spent Stg6m on Giorgios Samaras, an unproven striker signed from Heerenveen. He also signed Bernado Corradi for 1.5m to play upfront so there’s no excuse for not having scored a goal at home since NEW YEAR’S DAY.
He also signed dross like Dabo, Dickov, Ball, Trabelsi (what a disappointment), Beasley and Vassell.
He had no control over the dressing room at all. Dunne lashed out at the lack of effort from new signings. Barton said the signings were a disgrace and he wouldn’t bother renewing his season ticket if he was a supporter. He oversaw Thatcher assaulting Mendes, Ball stamping on Ronaldo and Barton knocking Dabo unconscious. I can’t think of many other managers who’d run such an indisciplined ship.
He was tactically inept and there was no pattern or style to City’s play under him. You’d wonder what they did every day on the training ground. Get the ball, knock it to the full back, launch the ball down the channel for Vassell to run on to, give up possession. Shocking. Truly awful.
He’s the worst type of little Englander going. The type of prick that made me question why I followed English football. His posturing to get the England U-21 job was a disgrace and he should have been sacked on the spot at that stage. While his team was an utter shambles he loved playing up to the Match of the Day cameras with silly little games on the touchline - carrying a teddy around with him for luck, running onto the pitch to reclaim the ball, jumping into the crowd (on the rare occasions) when City scored. All just so he could hear Lineker, Hansen and Shearer giggling like schoolgirls about what a character ‘Psycho’ was.
Now he can be a character in the Championship. The absolute charlatan. I hate him.
