This is not the place to come for empathy
Doubt heād make much of a grievance counsellor either.
ha? throw out the gibberish Iām talking there bud, its a serious issue this thread
Weāre all good people who only want the best for each other. If youāre here for some other reason Iād advise you kindly fuck off.
Go fuck yourself Mac.
Let it all out mate. Weāre here for you. Living in isolation for so long can never be a good thing for you. Weāll see you through these difficult times if you open up to us.
You seem to struggle with the concept of internet forums. You treat interactions here as if theyāre the same as the real world. If I call @mac a cunt, it doesnāt mean I think the person behind that account is a cunt, just your internet persona. You take this place far too seriously, which is pretty sad. Donāt worry about me mate, I have a great life.
Would you just fuck off out of it , you prick
So wrong, a child to be this far gone
Powerful stuff.
Jesus christ
Iām after watching it there from start to finish and was going to share it on here. V powerful, his dad Francie talks so well and with dignity about suicide and how depression affected his son.
Was just going to post it.
Ah itās just very, very sad. His father seems like a right character, typical west of Ireland dad. Think most can see the same traits in our own auld fella.
Ah thatās just beyond belief. This whole social media scene really needs to be looked at in a serious way at this stage. The innocence and beauty of childhood is been taken from us and the joy of raising our kids has now been reduced to having to watch their every move in fear of them being manipulated by some two bit website or some incognito bully on the other side of a phone who can infiltrate our families and the first we know about it is when something like this happens
Malachy Clerkin has a piece on Niall Donohue too:
Calm down
Kids in primary school now with smart phones etc - itās mad.
Instagram etc has created this false image of a perfect life where everything is great and if you donāt have the same as everyone else you are left behind.
Thank God there was no Bookface, Twitter when I was growing up. Kids today obsessed with image and their phones. Pressure to look perfect. Need all the likes for their self esteem.
Itās not a question of being calm. Thereās something fundamentally fucked up when an eleven year old child who should be completely oblivious to their physical appearance and whose only worry this time of the year should be whether or not there will be snow for Christmas is bullied into taking her own life.
I didnāt see any mention of bullying in the article about that tragic young girl. Was it not that she was having all sorts of dark thoughts herself before taking her life?
Ok mate, letās wait for the full facts and see if a trend develops first
