Milan also being linked with Lassana Diarra, would be a good signing for them and they look like they will have a very good depth in midfield next year.
Seedorf has joined Botafogo.
Naismith having a medial with Everton.
What happened his other medial?
Mehmet Topal has joined Fenerbahce from Valencia for the surprisingly low fee of €4.5m.
Barnetta has joined Schalke on a free transfer. 4 year deal.
Petersen has joined Werder on loan from Bayern.
Isla and Asamoah from Udinese to Juventus have now been formally completed.
Lavezzi from Napoli to PSG has also gone through.
I’m very surprised there wasn’t a greater interest in Lavezzi, think the fee PSG paid was €25m which isn’t at all excessive in today’s transfer market.
Looks like Maicon could sign for Chelsea this season, still think on form he is by far the best right back in the world. Inter are really trying to reduce costs at the minute, big earners like Forlan, Lucio and Maicon all attempted to be moved on.
They need to rebuild all the same, it is an aging squad and all three are the wrong side of 30.
I agree but there doesn’t seem to be much ambition in their transfer strategy, probably trying to duplicate Milan’s successful strategy of downsizing to success in recent seasons. I think Palacio was a waste of money to be honest, Guarin should be a good signing and Silvestre should be solid for them too. Inter should realistically have turned over a tidy little sum in transfer fees in recent seasons with the sales of Balotelli, Zlatan and Eto’o in recent seasons. Hopefully Stramaccioni concentrates on bringing some of the Primavera side too as Inter have really messed up with regard to their youth system in recent seasons - guys like Destro, Bonucci and Santon have slipped through their hands in recent seasons.
Steve Kean is assembling a bit of a dream team with Blackburn at the moment, hot on the heels of signing Danny Murphy and Leon Best he is now set to sign Portuguese striking hero Nuno Gomes. Ewood Park looks like the place to be next season.
+1
It’s impossible to imagine anything more exciting than the Barclays Premier League™ but Steve Kean’s Dream Team could just be it. Leon Best will be a worthy wearer of that famous number 9 jersey made famous by Alan Shearer.

The Arsenal and Holland forward Robin van Persie has announced that he will not extend his contract at the Emirates, which is due to run out next summer.
“As announced earlier this year I had a meeting with the boss [Arsène Wenger] and Mr [Ivan] Gazidis after the season,” said Van Persie, the double footballer of the year. "This was a meeting about the club’s future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.
"I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days. Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal should move forward.
"I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.
"I love the club and the fans, no matter what happens. I have grown up and became a man during my time with Arsenal. Everybody at the club and the fans have always supported me over the years and I have always given my all (and more) on and off the pitch.
“I am very proud of being part of this fantastic club for the last eight years. As soon as Mr Gazidis is back from his two-week holiday in America further meetings will follow and I will update you if and when there are more developments.”
So hes going to Citeh then. :o
Pirlo wants Juve to sign super Mario. Berlusconi Jnr would like to see Andy Carroll at Milan.
Niall McGinn has joined Aberdeen following his release by Celtic.
Andy Carrolls hair is made for Serie A, much like Mark Hately.
I see Swansea are being linked with a move for Johnathon De Guzman, would be a decent addition for them.
Handanovic joining Inter from Udinese.
Graham Hunter just said on Talksport that Luka Modric to Real Madrid is a certainty. Deal all but done
