Sunderland have signed Steven Fletcher for an undisclosed sum.
What odds are Sunderland to go down?
Liverpool seem to have paid between £5m and £7m to loan Sahin for the season with no option to buy. Unreal money.
Idiots.
Nuri Sahin has been confirmed for the year. 70% of his 115,000 a week wages is what is being put out there. With no option to buy that is a lot of investment and Wenger was probably right to turn it down, but Liverpools needs and Arsenals needs are totally different.
While It’s a welcome signing, a goal scorer is still badly needed.
Galliani is flying out to Madrid to secure a deal for Kaka. Milan are also in line for 17 year old M’Baye Niang who is supposed to be one of the most promising youngsters about right now. The deal for Ze Eduaro was cancelled by Allegri as he wasn’t keen on him, rumoured tension between Allegri and Galliani so I’d say it is highly likely he won’t see the season out.
BBC are reporting that Everton are on the verge of signing Niang for £2m.
You could call it inSahinity.
I think it’s a good bit of business though.
Adam Johnson has joined Sunderland
Holy shit.
Looking at how shit Villa’s team is today, I wouldn’t be averse to Liverpool making a cheeky bid for Darren Bent.
No one knows the exact figure, those that Rocko quoted seem to be coming from Arsenal forums. still, Wenger is no fool and I’m sure it is not miles from the truth.
If the club gets in the top four, which is a big if, it will be well justified.
Himself and Lucas when both are fully fit along with Allen will be a formidable midfield and keeps Gerrard away from a midfield role.
Who knows, the delights of the North West and the adulation of the kop might just win him over and get him to force a move away from that hell hole Madrid.
I got the figures from Guillem Ballague and other journalists. AS.com are reporting it as £5m or €6.3m.

Fair enough, I’ll still hold out for B Rods version of the story. Ball bag is an utter spoofer tho, I’d believe nothing he says.
As our Bundesliga expert, what do you make of the move? Wet night in stoke and all that tripe.
He’s a lovely player. I was a big fan of his when he was at Dortmund. Wouldn’t be that preoccupied with the fee because salary is presumably in play there, but I am surprised they didn’t manage to get an option to buy if that bit is true.
Hadn’t realised Chelsea signed Victor Moses. Doubt he will see all that much gametime there
Strange signing given the amount of attacking players they already have.
Modric to Madrid confirmed.
