Dempsey to Liverpool is now apparently deal done and will be announced tomorrow.
Anyone know anything about Aubameyang?
It’s the day we have all been waiting for!
Charlie Adam has been seen at stoke, should be wrapped up soon.
A rumour that Henderson is part of the Dempsey deal? Why on earth would they take a hit like that.

Done deal, 5million.
Jay Spearing has passed his medical at Bolton.
Because they grossly overpaid in the first place and will never get that bizarre value back.
It’s galling to think how much money “King” Kenny pissed away last year especially in the context of Liverpool who can’t really afford to be dropping that kind of money. They’ll be lucky to recoup £20m on all the deals.
Also I don’t think the loan deal for Carroll to West Ham is the worst thing for Liverpool either, he showed glimpses of form towards the end of last season and at the Euros. If he impresses at West Ham, then they will have a good chance of getting back a decent chunk of the money they spent on him last year.
When Adam goes, supposedly 28million will have been knocked off the wage bill. These buckos were on massive money when you think we’re only getting rid of the chaff in the team. Jamie Carragher is still drawing in close to 100k/week.
Wegner in a way has it right in that he won’t be held to ransom by players hitting their 30’s looking for 3 & 4 year deals for mega-bucks, when realtistically they probably only have 1 or 2 seasons left at the level where you would be getting some sort of value for those wages.
He’s also the type of player who will still attract an inflated bid on the back of a short run of form. He doesn’t need to be consistent throughout the season for someone to offer more than £10m and if he can have a spurt of goals at West Ham (which he’s definitely capable of) then they’ll get in a decent fee in the end alright.
But as it’s been clealry outlined to Carroll that he has no future other clubs will be in the driving seat. Liverpool really should have accepted West Ham’s initial loan offer earlier in the summer.
Possibly, but I think there’ll be enough clubs interested to force the price up.
Jordan Bowery confirmed for the Villa. Great news

Joe Cole is another little bollox sitting on his arse for massive money. Kenny was nuts really, as was Comolli.
Anyway, Van Der Vaart could be on his way to Hamburg.
Has Berbatov not moved yet?
Dempsey to villa?
The Carroll loan deal has an option to buy in it so the buying price could already be agreed. I’m a transfer expert though so Liverpool may have written clauses into the deal whereby the buying price increases the more successful he is for West Ham this season.
I hope they have. Provided the bright lights of London don’t send Andy off the rails, I can see him having a very good season and easily commanding a fee of £20m or so next summer.
Fee agreed anyway.
