Irelands front row got a nudge on and the pack were perfectly entitled to follow through the wheel. It was the difference between winning & losing in the end.
They got a nudge all right but backrow sprinted around when it wasn’t necessary and so didn’t help matters. Don’t think it was clearcut anyway. Actually didn’t think game was of a great standard. Fair amount of unforced mistakes and silly indiscipline from few players on both sides. Interview at end with BO’D was tough viewing. A true great.
Williams made three ridiculous calls again. Two carter slotted and the third should have been an irish penalty. Great effort.

They overplayed it a bit to win the scrum I thought. They got a nudge on but not a 90 degree nudge.
That doesn’t matter, once you are in control of the scrum you get the decision, it’s a big difference from the situations where the back 5 pull the scrum around when they are retreating.
Are we just referring to any Welsh person as Williams now?
If so this next game could get confusing.
