Is the rumour of Bentley going on loan to the tfk for tonights game true?
No, thats Jamie O Hara.
Bandage has been on the phone to Andy Burton.
Ipswich have formally signed Grant Leadbitter and Carlos Edwards from Sunderland in a deal that could eventually rise to 3.65million.
Richard Dunne has completed a 6m move from Manchester City to Aston Villa and James Collins appears close to joining him at Villa Park.
1.30pm: David James is doing a superb job of winding up the Sky reporter outside the Pompey training ground, by driving away - âDavid James has left the building!â - and then driving back in again. Top work.
Class by David James. I was watching it before lunch and the SSN reporter outside the Portsmouth training ground admitted his source for dealings in and out was Roger, the security guard on the gate. I reckon club bosses will be having a word with Roger.
[quote=âSledgehammerâ]RTE seem fairly open to putting up completely spurious rumours, go ahead and email them there

There was something on it earlier about Gary Twigg joining Hull - did that come from here I wonder??
From the Guardian
Todayâs Sun brings talk of Richard Dunneâs minor paperwork hitch on the way to Aston Villa. Will someone at the Premier League fix the paper-jam without having to call in Gavin from central services whoâs always a bit surly and smells faintly of Scotch egg? Either way Dunneâs move seems to have kicked off his Villa career in familiar fashion: late, clumsily-executed and presumably involving a variety of anguished and slightly heart-rending facial expressions.
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink signed up by Hull
Doesnât really belong in here Pikeman. Probably need a fresh thread for signings outside the transfer window.
IOTM stuff here from Pikeman.
True true-Iâm lazy like that.
True true.
Breaking news - Chelsea unable to sign players until 2011.
Yeah, just saw that.
They forced some kid from Lens, France[Iâm gonna do this as much as possible] to break his contract to sign for them.
So they have been fined US$500,000 and banned making transfers for a year.
Just saw that there on sky sports news, all because of someone unheard of basically. Some kakuta fella. Stupid cunts.
Chelsea are lucky they have the squad they do, imagine if it happened to one of the weaker clubs like wolves or stoke, theyâd be screwed.
Would imagine that Chelsea will be appealing this asap. Can see the fine being increased but the ban on transfers being reduced to one period (january transfer window).
Also would doubt if Chelsea were the only guilty party, Utd and Arsenal have signed lots of young players in dubious circumstances.

Even one transfer window would severely dent Chelseaâs title hopes seeing how that the African Nations Cup is on from January 10-31.
A couple of injuries combined with the loss of Essien, Drogba, Kalou, Mikel and they are fucked.
