Even one transfer window would severely dent Chelseaās title hopes seeing how that the African Nations Cup is on from January 10-31.
A couple of injuries combined with the loss of Essien, Drogba, Kalou, Mikel and they are fucked.
Hereās hoping:thumbsup:
High time that UEFA did something though, the English FA imposed distance rules on signing young players on clubs under their jurisdiction and the bigger clubs are getting around this by buying foreign players, usually taking advantage of different rules in Spain,Italy, France etc.

Think itās FIFA as opposed to UEFA but not sure. Neither here nor there. Does anyone know is there anything unique about this case that Chelsea have been singled out?
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has signed for Hull City. Innjuries seemed to have all but finished him last year so I wouldnāt be expecting him to score too many goals.
I think it might just be the determination of Lens to pursue it.
There have been half-hearted statements of protest in the past but usually the victim clubs have received sweeteners to keep them quiet (and possibly some pressure from the G14). French clubs have been making a bit of a fuss about this recently though. Good to see they have the conviction to follow through on it.

Wonder if there are many teams today thinking to themselves āHey, thatās exactly what those other fuckers did to usā¦ Hey! You! Secretary! Get me FIFA!ā
Preston manager Alan Irvine fears losing Republic of Ireland defender Sean St Ledger to Middlesbrough in a deal that could rise to 3million.
Many fans felt the 24-year-old was saying goodbye when he stayed on the Deepdale pitch to applaud them following the 2-0 win over Swansea.
Middlesbrough chief executive Keith Lamb said: āHopefully, at some time in the future, we will conclude that deal as a loan which then turns into a permanent transfer.ā
Like farmer said, the window is shut, loans are allowed in the lower leagues though I think, so this way they have a centre half and can buy him then in the January transfer window.
