Summer Transfer Window 2013
Everton reject a 28 million pound bid for fellaini and baines…

Moyes you cunt…fuck off
Cannot understand the logic behind buying a 28 year old left back when Evra is still playing well. Be better off looking for bring in Shaw from Southampton.

Evra hasn’t played well in years! Whatever about the odd burst forward, defensively he’s muck.

Coleman would be a descent buy for utd…I’m surprised they haven’t made a bid for him also

Yeah I was hoping for this as soon as Moyes took over, far better than Rafael and Jones’ future is not at right back.

I don’t think Baines is stunning or anything but I think United have a weakness at left back and he’d be an improvement. They do seem to have recognised their needs in central midfield, but other than the interest in Fabregas and Thiago they’ve done nothing creative about it.

Los Angeles Galaxy’s former Everton winger Landon Donovan is expected to join Manchester United in December, after the conclusion of the MLS season.

This could be who the no 7 shirt is for so.

Arsenal have sumbitted a bid for Cabaye apparently.

£12,000,001 is believed to be the bid.

I would say that they have little or no chance of getting him.

Newcastle wouldn’t sell normally, and certainly not within 2 weeks of the window slamming shut.

10 million for Cabaye was the bid apparently. Turned down.

In today’s market that seems very low.

Cabaye . Meh. Was excellent his first season but wasn’t much use last year.

Scott Parker to Fulham.

Everton thinking a £28m bid for Fellaini and Baines is derisory is a real damning indictment for football.

Think he was injured a lot last season, I certainly thought Newcastle missed him big time when he was out. If he was available for anything like £10m (which I suspect he isn’t), then I’d love to see United in for him.

He was out from around October til February

Cabaye not in the squad for Newcastle tonight

Pat Nevin was speculating that Juan Mata may go the opposite direction as part of the possible transfer of Wayne Rooney from Manchester United to Chelsea.

That would be a superb deal for Manchester United if it happened, in my view, and I’d imagine he’d slot straight into the number 7 shirt made famous by Michael Owen.

Is that based on anything other than what Pat Nevin thinks?

I would be very surprised if Mourinho let Mata go.

The speculation is based on “informed West London sources”, says Pat, the reasoning being that Mata does not fit into the all-out pace and power game that Mourinho wants as he slows things down too much.

I don’t watch much Barclays Premier League™ football apart from Liverpool matches so I wouldn’t really know if that’s true or not.
