A massive difference between spending money and recouping a fair bit of it in sales and just spending so much money that you blow everyone out of the water and the rest canāt compete. City have had the best squad in England since 2011 and any year they havenāt won the league in that period has to be deemed as a failure. Manchester United and Chelsea are the only clubs with the financial muscle to stay on Cityās coattails. Only reason Liverpool are challenging these days is because of Jurgen Klopp. Look where they were in the 6 years before his arrival.
