Super Bowl 50: The Road to Santa Clara

The Niners played very well tonight especially the D but were absolutely fuckin screwed on a ridiculous roughing the passer call which was a perfect sack on a huge third down leading to a Cardinals winning TD.

Big turn over and conversion there from the Patriots… With no receivers, Tom is getting it done… Lot of football left in this mind.

Great game in fairness. Pats will win it but great effort by the Broncos.

Gronk stretchered off…what a cluster fuck.

Cunt fuck Sanders

That’s a joke of a call considering the holding the Broncos were doing all night… Farcical .

What a fucking drive from Tommy boy.

That’s that… Brady will now be throwing to himself from here out.

Patriots season is genuinely over with a 10-1 record, I’m no doctor or @caoimhaoin but Gronk looks crocked for the season with that knee joining Lewis.

Won on D and with the running game finally getting going.

Huge win considering TJ Ward and Sylvester Williams were lost before half time.

Brady exploited the mistake matches in man coverage far to much for my liking. Looks like Anderson had finally kicked into gear at least.

I doubt Peyton would have done any better than Osweiler in the snow.

Manning needs to be kept on the bench he is finished and Kubiak will be fuck acting if he does put him back in.Broncos looked far better all around tonight!

The dolphins are some joke

I saw it said somewhere that they have a decision to make now. Start a fully fit Peyton and you have an outside chance of a Superbowl run. Start Osweiler and you have the chance to build a dynasty on the back of Kubiak’s schemes.

Osweiler might just be the making of Kubiak

There’s a couple of things as well. If Anderson can produce the form he did last night and Hillman remain as effective as in the change of pace game then it’s an excellent fit for the scheme as well.

Daniels thrives under it and you imagine that Virgil Green will grow into the role as well, given his prowess as a highly effective run blocker.

If Peyton is released next off season it frees up around 20m of cap space with important deals to be done for Von Miller, Osweiler, Derek Wolfe. Vernon Davis, Anderson and Hillman.

It was a great effort by both teams but I think it was won on a fumble and a PI call that was suspect, considering some of the holding calls that the Broncos got away with, but that’s football.

It’s a damn shame the season has petered out like this, Brady is in the form of his life… we will fall into the play-offs alright and probably have Jules and Danny back by then but the damage has been done.

On Gronk, I don’t think it was ACL/MCL … he took the brunt of the helmet on the top of the knee, it might be a cracked bone or just very badly bruised.

Is Hightower out too? :confounded:

very good win for the Broncos. Osweiler managed the offence very well and had a very solid game. Nothing spectacular, but managed the calls well and protected the ball for the most part. Without Collins and then losing Hightower effectively ruined any sort of run defence for the Patriots, and it really showed. Brady played really well ocnsidering the conditions and the players he had around him, and a couple of dodgy calls in terms of penalties on offence and then defence and blowing a fumble too quick were pivotal, but shit happens, the Patriots have got calls like that already, it just wasnt their night. They competed well and if just one of those calls went in their favour it would have won the game. Small margins. Regroup and ensure they hold onto top seed for playoffs and get a healthy team back in. Badly need Amendola, Edelman, Collins, Hightower and Gronk back. Gronks injury isnt sounding as bad as it looked on the field. Schefter reported a game or 2. So be it. Get a rest in, the bye was really early this year so without the “perfect Season” to play for, make sure the players get rested, and if they lose another game or 2 so be it.

I’m sleep depraved and fucking fuming at that loss… some suspect officiating drove me mad… The Broncos D really stepped up for that drive in over-time just after Tom had ripped them apart for the FG. I thought our D played well overall… And we are going to need them over the next few weeks.

I’m sleep deprived but absolutely buzzing after the Seahawks win and my victory in the Segunda, which means I can’t be relegated.

I’m flying over to New York next weekend and will be taking in the NY derby, can’t wait for that, I think the Jets will smash them.
