Super Bowl 50: The Road to Santa Clara

Reports coming through that Osweiler will start for the rest of the year.

It’s Bleacher Report so it might be horseshit.

Is this surprising or something? The old man has been done for a long time and Elway won’t take any of his shit either

It’s happening

Yup.

At least I won’t have to watch games from behind the couch when the Broncos are on Offense now.

Reports are now being denied by the Broncos office.

Good 'ol Bleacher Report

It’s going to end very messily with Peyton. Already rumblings.

Where will Peyton go next year do you reckon?

Did ye seethe Cleveland Browns fan ripping his jersey off at the end of the game last night, Hulk Hogan style? :grinning:

He’ll be back in Tennessee is some front office capacity. A team would be nuts to sign him, and he’d be insane to risk continuing for another ring.
Can you imagine if Osweiler won the Broncos a SB, and Peyton would get his 2nd ring - but as a crocked backup? I’d say he’d be seething.

Who would take him as a player?
There have been rumblings about him getting involved with the Titans in some capacity possibly even as part of an ownership bid.

They tried to sign him from the Colts and there was talk of a front office position once he retired.

The issue will be that he’s keen to keep playing and they’re unlikely to bench Mariota in his favour.

Unless he gets more playing time this season, and prove the doubters wrong, he’s going to have to face up to the reality that he’s done. Franchises in need of a QB like St Louis, San Francisco, Cleveland or Texans will hardly become contenders by signing Peyton.

You could put Rodgers into those franchises now and there would be no difference as they have no one to catch the ball…with the exception of D-Hop at the texans

Yes but are there any of them that could splurge on a win-now mode using a combination of low picks and a lot of cap space? Being honest I wouldn’t do it but I can see the potential for it at the same time.

The Niners and the Rams have about $40m projected to be available Texans are at about $27m.

The Rams would be a nice fit seeing as they have a few nice offensive weapons like Gurley and Austin, Peyton likes his slot receivers. If they tied up Peyton to a one year $10m deal while the develop Mannion or try and draft a QB in the first or second round to start in 2017.

The Texans need a bit of a rethink on Offense but the D is strong enough to get them to the play offs so it might just be a case of adding the right weapons in free agency and the draft and praying that Manning can run the Offense his own way while staying healthy.

I wouldnt touch Peyton with a barge pole, he has 2 of the most prolific WRs in the game and has barley been able to hit them all season.

How good are the O-lines for the teams mentioned above, cos he’s far too jittery and making far too many mental errors and misreading the Defence.

The Rams need a young Qb, Gurley can carry the team for 2-3 years and then they can expand their offense thereafter. They need a change at OC and maybe HC before they can do anything more potent imo, Fisher has failed to deliver.

The Niners need to do the same.

The Texans only need a Qb, but one who cant stretch the field, the need some corners and WRs in the next draft.

I cant see anyone willing to pay a huge contract for a player who has lost the magic, he’ s tainting any legacy he has by hanging around. It’s sad to see players go out like this but unfortunately sport is like that.

Yeah I said I wouldn’t go for it but I can see a certain logic that some teams might adopt.

The Titans would have taken him in the last close season.

If he’s being honest with himself he’ll call it a day and take a job in a front office somewhere.

Coldplay rumoured to be the halftime show at SB50.

Chris Martin is a cunt.

Get to fuck :rage:

Good start by the Lions D. Packers punting twice off 2 drives.
Abdullah looks good early on. Their running game could have a good night.

Another big one from Abdullah. 37yds. The OL is punching some serious holes for him.

Ebron 10-0.

Lions will win easy. Packers look fucked.
