Super Bowl LIV - Chiefs V 49ers

Ya maybe if Garrett got off him instead of keeping his full weight on top of him well after the play was done?

At no point has garret got any of his body weight on Rudolph. They go down side by side and Rudolph is pulling and twisting garrets helmet.

Listen there is no defending what he did for whatever reason, you can’t hit someone with a fucking helmet over the head.

If I’d a helmet in my hand and someone gave me a sly dig in the balls you can be damn sure they’d get a clatter down the top of the skull

Nobody is defending him

He deserves a ban. You’re defending the nfl decision not to ban Rudolph, which is fucking disgraceful

Youre not exactly from a posh town yourself

Will ye shake hands lads?

Not sure how many of ye have held a gridiron helmet but their very heavy.

A deadly weapon when a lad of nearly 20 stone of angry muscle is winging it at your skull! But sure tis harmless to some of the lads here.

No one said it’s harmless. He deserves his ban.

Do you not think Rudolph should be banned too?

Rudolph is his own cunt he should get his own punishment but Garrett should get 10 games with a 50k plus fine.

Rudolph got no punishment.

Then hopefully he gets a slap in the bollox next game if it’s fair game!

He wouldn’t be playing the next game if it was a fair game.

He’s to be fined. Says it on the nfl app

Rudolph should definitely get banned, no doubt, I just still find what Garrett did inexcusable. As @Watchyourtoes said, Rudolph could easily have been hit with the wrong side of the helmet (a few inches away) and he would be seriously, seriously injured. If he gave Garrett a dig in the balls then he should have got one back

Ah ffs lads launch themselves through the air and hit helmet to helmet all the time. Far more dangerous than a slap of a helmet to the head. It’s a very violent game and players have been paralyzed due to legal and illigal hits. That’s Deion’s point, it’s a compelte overreaction by the NFL. If it was a white player that hit a black player over the head there would be no such action taken. Garrett is in the bad books already because he smashed Siemian earlier in the season, even though the job he is paid to do is smashing quarterbacks.

“Helmet to helmet”, exactly, not helmet to head at a ferocious speed and power of Garrett’s

It’s helmet to unprotected head though man!!! Also if it was say Nick Bosa that did that to say Wilson the whole thing would go into meltdown.

Huh?
