Thereâs usually 1 week every year where there ends up only being 2 games. Sometimes theyâll move an earlier one to later. Fairly sure it was the week before Thanksgiving last year too when it happened.
Receivers still not on same wave length as Tom⌠Heâs had a couple bad throws but thereâs been some poor drops too. Very frustrating to watch.

Combination of factors - networks nominate a game of the week for which they get national coverage in that particular window. If its a particularly good game, theyâll stick it in the late window and stack the early slate with the other games to get as much viewership as possible for the big one. The league is happy to allow this, they want as many eyes on the major games as possible.
Thereâs also the fact that teams that would normally be in the late window are on the bye (Cards, Chargers) or on SNF/MNF.
