Super Bowl LIV - Chiefs V 49ers

Clear PI right there

Heroic effort from mccown in fairness

Pity McCown has no twist

He’s 40.

And playing on one leg

With a broken ass

Pederson might still have dialled up a better playcall there

DK Metcalf has been the star of the show, and rightly seals it for Seattle.

I would think that Urban Meyer is more likely for the Cowboys than Lincoln Riley.

If Brady does leave the Patriots and doesn’t retire where is he most likely to end up? Assume he will want to head back west coast so either the Chargers who need to sell seats for the new stadium they are sharing or the Raiders in Vegas who would also like to add some start power to a humdrum enough roster would be the two that will make big plays for him.

The Bears don’t have the cap space and he will hardly stay in the division and head to Miami. Maybe the Colts and their indoor stadium if they don’t think Briscett is the long term answer, get Tom in and draft a medium term replacement?

Assume the Patriots will go after someone like Teddy Bridgewater in free agency

Also Greg Roman and Rob Saleh will be very popular I’d imagine, when they’re allowed to talk.

Yeah but I would be surprised if Dallas didn’t go for a HC without previous head coaching experience unless they promote someone like Richard from within like they did with Garrett and Campo.

Aside from the Garrett hire Jerry has always gone this way with Jimmy Johnson, Switzer, Parcells, Wade Phillips etc. So wouldn’t be surprised to see McCarthy or Meyer having a good shot at this.

Brady is not good enough to be a starting QB for any NFL team anymore imo. He is just too old.

If the pats had the gronk they win. If they had Gordon they win. If they managed to keep Gordon and Antonio brown together they’d have won the Super Bowl. If you watch back the game they weren’t even getting close to Brady. They didn’t need to. They knew his receivers wouldn’t catch it. Brady isn’t the force of old but I’d be surprised if he doesn’t stay for one more year.

What did the patriots beat the dolphins by the one game brown and Gordon played together? 45 points I think it was and that was in Miami. Look what happens when neither are available against the dolphins a few months later.

I think Brady only stays on depending on what is around him. Edelman is nearing the end of his career, if they dont get a better tight end and at least one other receiver or even an upgrade on running back, then he wont stay on. I also think he was more injured than he let on, particularly through November and early December. He showed that he is still able to make decent throws and plays against the Titans, but his mobility has decreased a good bit over the last 2 years. I dont think he’d go to another team, financially he doesnt need it and it would need to be a team at top level personnel wise, and I dont see too many like that who are short a QB.

I’d imagine it’s like van Persie signing for man united. How long has bill left? One more year with Brady and they both go out together. They’ll beg borrow and steal to get a few receivers and maybe this years draft picks will improve.

That completely ignores the marked improvement the Dolphins had as the season progressed and the vulnerability of declining quarterbacks to cold weather in the latter stages of the season and in the playoffs.
