Sound @Mac. Interesting read. I think Brees will be back but it will be a team friendly deal. He had a good season statistically but I believe he has pushed the envelope a bit too much in offseason games notably against Rams last year with interception at a key stage and similarly last weekend. The interception in the target to TQS was an ego thing I think. Hill had just completed a 50 yard bomb to Harris which energised the crowd and Brees felt he wanted a piece of that. Arm strength has always been a question and opposition DBs have been playing on the inside and closer to the line of scrimmage. But he didnât really have a clean pocket with Peat getting ragdolled and pressure coming from inside all game. Run game was a non factor as well.
I think Bridgewater will get traded. Wouldnât be surprised if it is to the Dolphins in a deal that would see Josh Rosen come to New Orleans.

And I think we could see a big shock with possibly Alvin Kamara being allowed to walk. His attitude and body language was terrible against the Vikings and he really hasnât kicked on like McCaffrey etc. He played 60% of snaps this season compared to >90% for McCaffrety and Elliot. I would imagine the powers that be would bite your hand off for a first round draft pick for him.
I think there will be quite a few changes this off season with the window for Brees and Payton getting smaller and smaller.
