Why canât you just say you were wrong?
Not wrong mate. Live in the Bay Area and very close to insiders in the 49ers organization.
Kap was wrong (and had become a shit quarterback).
Leave your ideology at the door.
Sure. It was for purely football reasons, of course it was. Your âinsiderâ pals would have a good chuckle at that one
Yes, it was for completely football reasons.
Kyle had no interest in a running quarterback.
Iâll go with his judgement if you donât mind.
You can stick with Aaron.
who couldnât run or pass.
You are worse for entertaining him, he will be in overdrive the next two weeks before disappearing until the hurling championship.
Injury updates Teco dislocated his shoulder but should be ok, Tartt aggravated his recent broken rib so worth keeping an eye on that.
I know, but he needs a little attention with Sid gone.
You canât spell San Francisco 49ers with IRA.
iâd love to see a source on this?
Or is it just pre supposed as Shanahan felt Kap wouldnt have the tools for his scheme
I would love it if Bellicheck traded a thrid day pick for someone like Andy Dalton and proceeded to win a Superbowl with him.
Shanahan got rid of social justice icon Colin Kaepernick and brought in well known racist and homopobe Nick Bosa. Structural racism at work. The 9ers are a vile organisation
Nick Bosaâs news and views make him risky 49ers pick
San Francisco Chronicle
The 49ers, picking No. 2 overall in the NFL draft Thursday, made the nightâs safest and riskiest pick.
The 49ers selected Nick Bosa of Ohio State, an edge rusher and an edgy social-media guy.
Artistically, Bosa is a super-safe pick for a team that desperately needed one. Expert opinion is near unanimous: Nick Bosa will skillfully and enthusiastically attack NFL quarterbacks.
However ⌠hey, itâs the 49ers. You expected clear sailing on draft night?
Bosa will arrive with baggage, in the form of deleted tweets and other questionable social-media adventures.
General manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan played down that stuff in their news conference Thursday night, but it might not waft away as quickly or quietly as they â and Bosa â hope it will.
There are many who believe in the old Latin phrase, In tweetus veritas . In other words, deleting a tweet doesnât make everything sweet.

Bosa recently deleted tweets in which he called Colin Kaepernick a âclown,â referred to Beyonceâs music as âcomplete trashâ and called âBlack Pantherâ the worst Marvel movie. On Thursday, the website Blacksportsonline posted threads showing Bosa following and liking accounts that feature white nationalist posts. The twitter feed @rzstprogramming showed Bosa retweeted a tweet referring to âcrappernick.â

49ersâ Nick Bosa addresses controversial use of social media
While in high school, Bosa liked an Instagram post that had a photo accompanied by racist and homophobic hashtags. He said Thursday he simply did not notice the hashtags.
Bosa told ESPN recently that he deleted the tweets in question because, âI had to. Thereâs a chance I might end up in San Francisco.â
Worth noting: Bosa did not say he deleted the tweets because he outgrew, changed or regretted the beliefs.
Although there was a high-percentage chance going into the draft that Bosa would wind up in San Francisco, there was a 100 percent chance he would wind up on a team with a lot of black players, in a league in which for black players, there is a high level of support and admiration for that âclown,â Kaepernick.
Bosa wound up on a team that still has players who respect and support former teammate Eric Reid, who joined Kaepernick in protesting.
This doesnât mean Bosa will be a leper in the 49ersâ locker room. No team is ever 100 percent unified in its political or social beliefs. Those things often get pushed aside as players fight for a common goal, and Lynch and Shanahan both noted that one thing they love about Bosa is they learned heâs a great teammate, extremely well-liked by all.
But any fans and critics on the outside, and any coaches and executives on the inside who considered Kaepernick a divisive and destructive force when he played for the 49ers have to wonder if the 49ers are taking a big risk with Bosa, for the same reason.
Itâs a sensitive issue, and one that Lynch and Shanahan tip-toed around Thursday.
Earlier in the week, Lynch said of researching potential top draftees, âIn general, we look at everything. We try to be as thorough as we can.â
Yet on Thursday, Lynch said, âWe were not aware of that particular (Instagram) post,â even though that news of the post was public.

Lynch added, referring to the Instagram, âThatâs not something we like, but I think itâs a long time ago, and we choose to think more about what we heard from people as to who (Bosa) really is.â
Shanahan, asked if he discussed any of the social-media issues with Bosa during any of their conversations, said, âI didnât feel the need to.â
Thatâs a curiously indirect approach to a significant issue, especially from a team whose research in the past has not always served it well. Lynch and Shanahan drafted linebacker Reuben Foster two years ago, even though he was red-flagged completely off many draft boards because of character and maturity questions. The 49ers overrode those concerns with their research. They wound up cutting Foster after multiple domestic-violence incidents.
A safer pick for the 49ers on Thursday would have been defensive lineman Quinnen Williams, rated by many experts the equal to Bosa as a defensive lineman. Williams, grabbed No. 3 by the Jets, has zero character issues, and many experts say he has a bigger upside than Bosa. But Williams is an inside lineman and the 49ers are desperate for an edge rusher, especially one with Bosaâs blue-ribbon pedigree.
Bosa, in a conference call with the Bay Area media, addressed the deleted tweets by saying, âI was a little insensitive in some of the things I said. So, Iâve learned a lot in the past few months, and Iâm just ready to move forward from that, put it in the past and bring the faithful some wins.â
That might be exactly the way it shakes out. Ideally, every team has room for players with vastly different views. Many fans prefer to ignore the âpoliticsâ and quirks of players and just enjoy the show.
It didnât turn out that swell for Kaepernick, but maybe Bosa will be luckier.
Kap opted out of his last season i thought
he liked an instagram post in high schoolâŚ
well thatâs enough for me
Shanahan met him and told him in no uncertain terms which way the wind would be blowing. From a social justice icon on a par with Martin Luther King to scum of the earth Nick Bosa types. The 9ers a in a very sorry state of affairs, Iâm hearing they are struggling to sell merch in San Fran even despite being in a Superbowl
You think the SF chronicle would feature this story if thats all it was? You know well whats going on here, get up the yard bucko
He lost the starting job in the middle of 2015 season under Jim Tomsula, and was in and out of the team in 2016 under Chip Kelly. Shanahan made it clear he was bringing the Falcons style offense to SF and there was no place for Kap in that offense.
Kapâs biggest flaw was an inability to see the field and change the play, once he was locked in to a passing play that was it. Cost the Niners the SB in 2013 and the Championship game in 2014.
Putting a sorry ass receiver like Crabtree on Sherman killed them. He should have never talked about Sherman.
That cunt Frank Clark can keep bumping his gums for the next two weeks.
